Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Full scale troubleshooting and repair (ability to replace all components of the device)
  • Flexible to travel as required
  • Flexible to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required
  • May be asked to back up or perform duties of other job roles as qualified
  • Maintains technical knowledge by completing training and reviewing technical publications
  • Work all proactive maintenance (DRA) tickets assigned.
  • Work all break/fix tickets assigned
    • Contacting customer within 30 minutes after receiving
    • Closing within (SLA) specified hours allotted of receiving
    • Escalating to manager any ticket not closed after 1 hour
  • Building walkthroughs each day
    • Check all printers for any problems including consumables
  • Maintain inventory
    • Check in incoming orders daily
    • Check inventory levels correcting any discrepancies
    • Escalating any consumable outage to manager
    • Preparing and shipping parts out when requested
  • Customer service
    • Responsible for maintaining good customer communications
    • Meet all customers’ needs and requests, reporting any problems to manager
    • Maintaining professional communications and appearance


  • High School Diploma minimum, technical associates degree preferred
  • 1-3 years print break/fix experience in an environment of 300+ devices
  • Xerox /HP Certifications Preferred; or equivalent printer experience will be accepted.
  • Active A+ Certification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to pass color test
  • Must have reliable personal transportation and valid driver license
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
